Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Take charge of establishing and managing our testing strategy, validating new features, and ensuring the quality of our software products.

In January 2023, we merged with the platform organization Invenna. This merger has led to growth within our organization and heightened our ambitions for advancing our software technology stack. As a result, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for developing new test cases and scenarios. This hybrid position allows for some work at our office in Arnhem and the option to work from our office in Nieuwegein.

What you’re going to do

You will be focusing on the goals of our products as outlined in the roadmap, which combines customer needs with the visions of your colleagues. In the coming year, we have several developments on our wish list, including redesigning our Continuous Integration (CI) system, new features to help us localize personal data, and enhancements to the user experience. With your knowledge, insights, and suggestions, we can achieve success in these areas.

Also, you will be responsible for setting up, optimizing, and managing the testing strategy. You have extensive expertise in quality assurance (QA), and everyone turns to you to ensure our product quality.

You are

You are well-versed in software solutions and IT, with a strong interest in data. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies. Additionally, you have extensive experience setting up test strategies and plans. Your knowledge of manual testing is extensive, and you understand the importance of thorough documentation. You can analyze test results and identify trends, and you are eager to provide input on how we can enhance our tools, processes, and overall workflow.

Your profile

  • Extensive work experience spanning several years.
  • HBO+ level of thinking and working.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Dutch, with an excellent command of the English language.
  • Proficient in Java and know C/C++.
  • Mastery of RestAssured, SoapUI, Jenkins, and Testrail tools.
  • Experience in developing test strategies.
  • A problem solver with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to various internal stakeholders.
  • Bonus: ISTQB and TMAP certification.
